Mildegard Midnight

A new series crawls onto the literary world like a ravenous kaiju version of Hello Kitty.  Mildegard Midnight and the School for Apocalyptic Science is now available as an e-book on Amazon.  I think fans of Harry Potter will particularly enjoy this, but so will anyone who appreciates a nefarious alliance of spooky and cute.

Cat zombies!  A steam-powered robot butler!  Mad science!  Studiousness!  Oh, the horror!

One Does Not Simply Tweet Into Mordor

“He told them tales of bees and flowers, the ways of trees, and the strange creatures of the Forest, about the evil things and good things, things friendly and things unfriendly, cruel things and kind things, and secrets hidden under brambles.”
-The Fellowship of the Ring

International Reviews

I thought I would draw attention to some nice international reviews of The Muse of the Monstrous -- from both sides of the Atlantic.  For example, I just noticed what John Willson had to say at Amazon Canada.  He observed that the book was "Full of weird, original meditations... Strange morsels of incongruity, casual horrors, alluring mysteries, people made lonely by their perceptions, their obsessions, the lucky few who see behind the curtain and suffer for it, willingly."  And at Amazon UK, Beccameriel writes "Very enjoyable weird fiction short stories with a distinctly Lovecraftian sensibility."  I don't know either of these folks, but I'm very glad they enjoyed the book!  My thanks goes out to everyone who has taken the time to read my work.  And keep checking back, there are lots of weird things in the works!
